Managing Member

Nathan Pinkhasov


Mr. Pinkhasov has a unique background in both transactional and litigation matters which makes him extremely valuable in foreseeing any potential pitfalls or potential claims.  Mr. Pinkhasov’s unique approach to practicing law has brought him acclaim with his clients and colleagues.  The lost art of counseling is the key is his approach with his client, and he endures to bring parties to the settlement table rather than proceeding with lengthy and expensive actions.

Mr. Pinkhasov has earned his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1999, and his completed his accounting undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in 1995.

Mr. Pinkhasov is also an arbitrator for small claims court in Queens County, and a member of the Queens County Bar Association.

Yolanda Rivero, Esq.

Ms. Rivero joined the firm in April 2013, and in doing so has returned to real estate transactional matters.  As part of the practice of representing individual buyers and sellers in residential real estate matters, Ms. Rivero is involved in all aspects of the transaction from contract review and execution, title reviews, conducting closing and post-closing issues.  She has also managed and supervised the real estate transactions during her prior tenures at other real estate firms, and took great care in resolving title issues and making sure that her clients were fully informed and prepared for their closings.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rivero was actively engaged in all aspects of employment and labor litigation, involving issues under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) as well as claims under New York State and New York City law.  Ms. Rivero also has experience in bankruptcy matters, and specifically has been involved in all aspects of bankruptcy involving individuals seeking protection under Chapters 7 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.  She also utilized her knowledge of Bankruptcy law to defend her clients’ interest in their employment litigation in Bankruptcy Court as creditors.  She has also worked representing clients in a full range of other legal issues such as immigration and personal injury.

Ms. Rivero transactional real estate experience stems from Malik & Associates PC and Law Offices of Jose A. Rey P.C..

Ms. Rivero received her J.D. from Albany Law School, and her B.A. in Psychology and Economics from N.Y.U.  She is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Ms. Rivero is also fluent in Spanish.


Anna Bangiyev, Esq.


Ms. Bangiyev joined the firm in 2015 and she is an associate in firm’s Real Estate Law Department.  Ms. Bangiyev is involved in all aspects of the real estate transaction from contract execution to closing, both commercial and residential.

Ms. Bangiyev is highly motivated, proactive attorney with a background in litigation and in-house counsel roles.

Before joining the firm Ms. Bangiyev worked as in-house counsel in a leading insurance company. Ms. Bangiyev successfully handled a heavy case load from intake to resolution including drafting pleadings and variety of motions. Ms. Bangiyev was making pretrial appearances on a daily basis in Supreme and Civil Courts in four boroughs for Personal Injury, Property Damage and No-Fault cases.

Ms. Bangiyev’s experience as a litigator helps her anticipate potentially troublesome situations that may arise in all aspects of Real Estate Law.

Before her emigration to the United States Ms. Bangiyev worked in Russia as leading in-house counsel in prominent company specializing in engineering, design, and wholesale of materials and for factory machines/equipment.

Ms. Bangiyev received her LL.M. Degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in 2014. She is admitted to practice law in New York State.  Ms. Bangiyev received her law degree in Russia, Omsk State University in 2009, and she is also admitted to practice in Russia.

Rebecca F. Furman, Esq.

Rebecca F. Furman, Esq. joined the firm in February 2015, and has a substantive background in matrimonial and family law, as well as practice experience in personal injury and trusts and estates.

Ms. Furman takes great pride in prioritizing client needs and applying her specific skills to each case individually.  Her experience in private practice has involved representing both husbands and wives in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, equitable distribution of assets, spousal support, child support, custody, and post-judgment modification and enforcement.

During law school, Ms. Furman worked as a law clerk at Stein & Ott, LLP, a boutique matrimonial firm in Manhattan, and she also participated in a clinical internship at the Children’s Law Center where she represented children in custody, visitation and family offense matters.   Ms. Furman also interned at the matrimonial department of District Counsel 37 Municipal Employees Legal Services as well as for the Honorable Lee A. Mayersohn, in Supreme Court, Queens County.  She has done pro bono work for the Uncontested Divorce Project where she prepared uncontested divorce documents for victims of domestic violence.  Through her diverse internships and pro bono work during law school, Ms. Furman had learned how to handle the emotional challenges families face when dealing with divorce.

Ms. Furman graduated from Northeastern University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 2014.  She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.


Johanna Morales


Johanna Morales joined the Law Offices of Nathan Pinkhasov, PLLC in March of 2009, and heads the Banking Department as the senior paralegal. Mrs. Morales is involved in all aspects from refinances to purchases in residential and commercial transaction and CEMA’s.  She also prepares loan documents both for Major and Private Lenders.   She handles all post-closing issues and insures compliance with all Federal, State and investor guidelines and regulations. Mrs. Morales has extensive experience in representing and providing guidance to mortgage lenders and brokers. She has managed and supervised the Bank Department transactions during her prior tenures at other real estate firms.

Mrs. Morales is also involved in supporting our Real Estate Department as well.  She has and can handle anything from contract execution to closing and everything in between. She is able to make connections with the client and help them understand the transactions and prepare them for their closings.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Morales was a Bank Paralegal for an additional six years at various law firms.

Mrs. Morales received her Bachelor degree in Law and Paralegal Studies from New York College of Technology located in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. She is also a board member to G&SP (Gay and Straight People) which is a non for profit organization that is devoted to giving back via volunteering and fundraising for various charities that help with Autism, Cancer Research, Aids Awareness, and helping the Homeless.
